Poster Tracks Overview
----------------------------------
SC26 hosts four distinct poster tracks. Authors should submit to the track that best fits their work:

1) Research Posters
Research Posters provide a venue to discover cutting-edge research by academics, researchers, and students. This track welcomes emerging ideas, new research results, innovative approaches, and contributions from across the HPC community. Many posters provide an opportunity to share early findings and insights that may develop into future publications at HPC conferences.

The Best Poster Award recognizes excellence in both research quality and poster presentation. New this year, authors are encouraged to submit a 1-minute Recorded Poster Blitz video highlighting the core idea or most compelling insight from their poster and sharing their work with a broader audience.

2) Interactive Research e-Posters
Complementing the traditional Research Posters program, Interactive Research e-Posters provide an opportunity to showcase scientific breakthroughs through interactive presentations, large-scale visualizations, and dynamic demonstrations.

This track is designed for research projects that benefit from interactive experiences that cannot be fully represented on static posters, including live visualization, data exploration, software demonstrations, and on-site code executions.

3) ACM Student Research Competition (SRC)
SC26 hosts the ACM Student Research Competition (SRC), showcasing original research from undergraduate and graduate students. Student participants present their research through posters and compete based on research quality, poster content, and presentation effectiveness.

The ACM SRC Committee selects winners who receive ACM recognition, awards, and opportunities to advance to the ACM SRC Grand Finals.

4) Doctoral Showcase
The Doctoral Showcase provides an important opportunity for students nearing completion of their PhD to present the broader story of their dissertation research through short talks and poster presentations.

This track highlights the overall dissertation journey, including research contributions, publications, software, datasets, and other supporting artifacts. It is an ideal opportunity for prospective employers to interact with new or soon-to-be-graduating PhDs, and for junior graduate students to learn about state-of-the-art research in high performance computing.

Choosing the Right Track
----------------------------------
* Research Posters → Present new research ideas, results, and innovations.
* Interactive Research e-Posters → Showcase research through interactive visualizations and demonstrations.
* ACM Student Research Competition (SRC) → Compete and gain recognition for outstanding student research.
* Doctoral Showcase → Present the complete story and impact of your PhD research.

Why Present a Poster at SC?
----------------------------------
Being part of the SC Posters Program enhances your career, whether you are:
* Presenting cutting-edge research
* Showcasing innovative systems, tools, or practices
* Sharing interactive scientific discoveries and visualizations
* Teaching and mentoring the next generation of HPC professionals
* Competing and gaining recognition for outstanding student research

The poster selection process is highly competitive, and acceptance is a significant professional achievement.

Looking forward to seeing you presenting in Chicago in November!

Sincerely,

Ayesha Afzal
