[petsc-users] petsc under cygwin

To be sure - I would rerun cygwin setup again [without any active
running cygwin processes - i.e after a reboot] - to make sure all
dependencies are installed correctly.

Another thing to do is check if the install is broken

cygcheck -c

Here is the following packages I have:

balay at ps5 ~
$ cygcheck -c |grep openmpi
libopenmpi-devel              3.1.3-1            OK
libopenmpi40                  3.1.3-1            OK
libopenmpifh40                3.1.3-1            OK
libopenmpiusef08_40           3.1.3-1            OK
libopenmpiusetkr40            3.1.3-1            OK
openmpi                       3.1.3-1            OK

However its strange that 'mpicxx -show' is so different for you from what I have.

g++ -fexceptions -L/usr/lib -lmpi_cxx -lmpi -lopen-rte -lopen-pal -lm -lgdi32
vs
g++ -L/usr/lib -lmpi -lopen-rte -lopen-pal -lm -lgdi32 -lz
