Self-consistent problems

Hello,

Is anyone out there using PETSc/SLEPc to solve self-consistent problems?
I am interested to know an efficient way to save and load vector solutions
for input to the next self-consistent itteration.

My problem is to solve the Schrodinger equation itterated with Poisson
equation. I am guessing that a binary save, destroy matrix, binary load,
then solve is the best way forward.

Any suggestions are very welcomed.

Best,
	Toby
