I had missed this email before, apparently. So here it is. It looks like they will pay for two members to attend, anyone interested?
I think I will attend since it is only a train ride away.

>> The Project Summit is an annual, all-expenses-paid event aimed at strengthening the NunFOCUS project network by bringing project representatives together for two full days of presentations, workshops, and group discussions. Attendee input guides the program to reflect project needs. Our goal is to make the Project Summit a valuable opportunity for everyone who attends, and all input will help ensure that projects get the most out of this experience.
>>
>> From past participants …
>> “The summit is the best opportunity to share insights and join efforts”
>> “In-person meetings meant faster collaboration and discussions on pressing issues”
>>
>> Similar to the 2023 Summit, September 5 and 6 will be full Summit days. There will be an evening Welcome Reception on Wednesday, September 4, and a dinner on the evening of September 5. September 7 will be a semi-structured optional collaboration day meant to allow projects to work independently or schedule time to collaborate on topics of mutual interest.
>>
>> NumFOCUS will cover all flights, accommodation, meals, and rides to/from airports. Attendees will book their own flights.
>>
>> Dates
>>
>> The Summit will be held on September 5 through 7. We ask that everyone arrive on September 4 so that you are able to attend all sessions.
>>
>> The dates were carefully chosen to minimize overlap with any religious or culturally significant holidays or other open-source community events. Although we do our best, it is not always possible to find dates with no overlap, but we found these dates to have the least overlap.
>>
>> Venue
>>
>> The Summit will be held at Microsoft’s NERD Center thanks to a generous donation of the space at no charge. All attendees will be required to show valid government-issued ID or a passport to enter the building so please make sure you are able to provide this.
>>
>> For those of you that helped us try to secure the Johns Hopkins University venue in Washington we want to thank you for your efforts. Ultimately JHU could not accommodate the dates we needed but we hope to partner with them on future events.
>>
>> Flights
>> Airfare will be reimbursed up to $500 USD/person for domestic US travel or $1,000 USD for international travel.
>> Reimbursement guidelines will be shared soon. Please review them before booking any flights.
>>
>>
>> Call for Attendees: We aim to have all projects represented by 1 or 2 (preferably 2) project leads or representatives from each NF-sponsored project attending the Project Summit. Project representatives are typically core maintainers, members of project leadership, or community managers, however, projects may send anyone they feel is appropriate to represent their project.
>>
>> There are many discussions at the Summit that shape the operational and strategic direction of NumFOCUS so having your project represented is crucial. Please consider sending a community member or contributor if no leadership or core maintainers are available.
>>
>> When your project has selected its attendees, please share this form <https://urldefense.us/v3/__https://forms.gle/vqVGgmZWU9BEbdNr7__;!!G_uCfscf7eWS!fKkEUaSnMMVq4Tz0RA4hZz0jx5Lt7jqOBR0AmCqjYwwo-F-gRhQtOQ8ElwTbAPK9LSJAq7yaJY_BGgYRkRJjBw$ > with them and request that they fill it in as soon as possible. This information will guide further logistical planning such as hotel reservations, catering needs, and restaurant reservations.
>>
>> Please let me know if you have any questions.
>> We are looking forward to seeing everyone in Cambridge this September!
