[petsc-dev] can we remove EXAMPLESC / EXAMPLESF?

Currently they are used by some of the doc generation targets in lib/petsc/conf/rules [errors here are not easily visible].

Sure - it might be possible to remove these variables and fix these targets [to use *.c *.F etc.. or something else]
