[petsc-dev] HDF5 download error

This looks like it is a problem with NERSC, this does not work:

04:14 cori04 maint= ~/petsc_install/petsc$ ping ftp.mcs.anl.gov
PING ftp.mcs.anl.gov (140.221.6.23) 56(84) bytes of data.
