I would have asked

Self-contact, AMR, immersed boundary, particles with non-uniform density
(e.g., NAMD and other applications using Charm++), some matrix
partitioning methods, operations like matrix-matrix multiplication using
matrices that change somehow, including coarse grids of algebraic
multigrid that are affected by thresholding, to name a few.
