[petsc-dev] meaning of NUM_FIELDS in PetscFEM

To make sure I understand the code correctly: a single field can be
vector-valued, right?  I.e., the position field for elasticity can be
1 field, corresponding to NUM_FIELDS = 1 in the various examples?  And
in ex62, the two fields are pressure and velocity, the latter vector
valued?
