Beats me :-).

Akshar: As already mentioned on the list, MPICH-1 is not supported. 
Please give MPICH2 a try. You didn't quite answer our question on why 
the application doesn't support MPICH2. Did you have some problem 
earlier or are you just following some ancient instructions that say 
"don't use MPICH2 with this application, because when I tried it in 
1972, it failed"?
