[mpich-discuss] open failed for root's mpd conf

Output of "strings /usr/bin/mpdroot | grep etc" yielded "/etc/mpd.conf" Setting the environment variable failed. I made a symlink to /etc/mpd.conf in /usr/etc/mpd.conf. This also failed.
