[mpich-discuss] mpdboot

Dear List,

I have a Linux machine with two quad-core Intel (Xeon) CPUs (total 8 cores)
and installed MPICH2 successfully with Intel IFORT and ICC compilers.
But it seems that it is not fully using the all cores.

Does it have any relation to invking mpdboot? What is the proper way to
invoke mpdboot? Right now I use,

$ mpdboot

But it gives different timing when mpdboot is invoked with --ncpus=2, 4, and
8.

Any help is appreciated.
