Dear List,<br><br>I have a Linux machine with two quad-core Intel (Xeon) CPUs (total 8 cores)<br>and installed MPICH2 successfully with Intel IFORT and ICC compilers.<br>But it seems that it is not fully using the all cores.<br>

<br>Does it have any relation to invking mpdboot? What is the proper way to<br>invoke mpdboot? Right now I use,<br><br>$ mpdboot<br><br>But it gives different timing when mpdboot is invoked with --ncpus=2, 4, and 8.<br><br>
