Hi,
  As I mentioned in my previous email if you want to modify MPICH2 source
code (and not just build MPI applications) you need VS 2005 to use the
solution files. However you could build MPICH2 using the makefiles
(build.bat/Makefile in winbuild directory) generated by the windows
configure script.

 Hi,
  The solution files available with MPICH2 are for Visual Studio 2005 (We
should fix the docs - thanks for pointing them out). We don't have
solution files for Visual Studio 2003.
  Please note that if you want to develop MPI applications you only need
to install MPICH2 on your system (Using the windows installables available
at the downloads page). However you need VS 2005 if you need to modify the
MPICH2 source code.

I am trying to build mpich2-1.0.7 on Windows by following the guide here:

It mentions that I need Microsoft Visual Studio 2003, which I have
installed.  However, the Visual Studio solution files in the source
archive appear to be for Visual Studio 2005.  Does anyone know where I can
get the solution file for 2003?
