[mpich-discuss] building 32 bit shmem on 64 bit linux system

Yes, this is what I check all the time, 'which mpicc' and 'which
mpirun' point to the same directory. So I'm really clueless :(
I'll look into mpich2 but I'm afraid that the mpich1 -> mpich2
transition will introduce its own problems, but hopefully not.
