 Hi,
What is the error that you get (after installing openssl) when you run
configure/make (Provide us with the configure.log -- the output of
configure command, config.log & make.log -- output of make command)?

Regards,
Jayesh

Hi,

I was trying to install MPICH2 with smpd under my home directory on a
64-bit linux computer.

When i was configuring MPICH2, I got an error saying that SMPD needs MD5
support. Therefore, I installed openssl, which provides MD5 support, under
my home directory.

I tried to specify the path of that openssl in the configuration process
using the LDFLAGS, MPICH2_LDFLAGS, CFLAGS, MPICH2_CFLAGS options. However
I could not get it right. I got the same error as before.

So, how to correctly specify the path of the openssl which is under my
home directory so that MD5 support can be found in the configuration
process?

Thank you very much

-Yucheng
