[MPICH] MPICH2 ports and firewall issues - limit port range ?

Ok, that did the job :-)

I read the version with the ".." inside an older posting in this 
mailinglist ->
http://www-unix.mcs.anl.gov/web-mail-archive/lists/mpich-discuss/2005/08/msg00052.html
which dealt with problems related to Windows XP's firewall, perhaps is 
this way of
expressing the value for the environment variable Windows specific.

Nevertheless, thank you for your help, it saved my day :-)
