Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to announce the 5th International Workshop on Extreme Heterogeneity Solutions (ExHET 2026), to be held January 26, 2026 in Osaka, Japan, in conjunction with SCA/HPC Asia 2026. We apologize for cross-posting.
Workshop Scope:
ExHET 2026 explores innovative approaches to harnessing extreme heterogeneity in high-performance computing (HPC). As systems integrate diverse architectures—from accelerators to non-von Neumann designs—the workshop focuses on software, tools, and co-design methodologies that enable scalable performance, efficiency, and productivity across heterogeneous platforms.
Topics of Interest
We invite original research papers on topics including (but not limited to):
• Heterogeneous Programming & Runtimes: programming models, runtime systems, autotuning, AI-driven code generation
• HPC Applications on Heterogeneous Systems: algorithms, parallel libraries, distributed frameworks
• Emerging Heterogeneous Architectures: non-von Neumann designs, energy efficiency, reliability, benchmarking
• Co-Design Strategies: agile processes, hardware–software co-optimization
Important Dates
• Submission deadline: November 7, 2025
• Notification of acceptance: November 28, 2025
Submission Guidelines
• Full papers: 12–18 pages
• Short papers: 8–9 pages
