CALL FOR POSTERS and SHORT PAPERS:
EuroMPI/Australia 2024: 31st European MPI Users' Group Meeting
Pawsey Supercomputing Research Centre
Perth, Australia, September 25-27, 2024

EuroMPI is an annual conference with a focus on advancing the
ubiquitous Message Passing Interface (MPI) model and specification of
parallel programming. It also encompasses extensions and alternative
interfaces for high-performance heterogeneous and hybrid systems,
benchmarks, tools, parallel I/O, fault tolerance, and parallel
applications using MPI and other interfaces. The EuroMPI conference
series has been attracting an international audience of leading
academic and industrial experts since 1994.
EuroMPI/Australia 2024 (25-27 September 2024) will be hosted by the
Pawsey Supercomputing Research Centre in Perth, Australia, and will be
co-located with the International Workshop on OpenMP - IWOMP 2024
(23-25 September 2024). Having EuroMPI, IWOMP, and the MPI Forum
grouped together allows attendees to interact and share ideas and
experiences to contribute to the improvement and furthering of
message-passing, shared-memory parallelism, and related parallel
programming paradigms - and their combined usage.
Posters and short papers are an excellent opportunity to engage the
community to discuss new ideas and latest results that aren't
necessarily ready to be full papers.
We encourage submissions from users, developers, and researchers from
all areas of message-passing parallel programming, including but
not limited to:
* Use Cases:
- MPI in applications, showcasing its potential to enable new
research in various domain sciences
- Performance evaluations of MPI on various payloads
- Possible limitations of MPI for specific use cases
- Comparison with alternative approaches (PGAS, DSLs, etc.)
* Programmability:
- MPI and heterogeneous programming
- Challenges and opportunities with new networking hardware
- New interfaces for MPI
- Testing of MPI programs
* Dynamic Processes:
- Challenges and opportunities of dynamicity/malleability in MPI
- Usage of MPI in workflows
* Tools, Models, and Monitoring:
- Tools and approaches for profiling and monitoring MPI programs
- Performance models and algorithms studies linked with MPI
- New introspection and profiling interfaces

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS:
Posters should be submitted for review in the form of extended
abstracts with 3–6 pages and short papers should be 6–11 pages.
All submissions should follow the LNCS Guidelines
https://urldefense.us/v3/__https://www.springer.com/gp/computer-science/lncs/conference-proceedings-guidelines__;!!G_uCfscf7eWS!e-ydurAQoyWP4x6QB7OyOwK0Fc8d_NuG_5CB8AIS4TY_p4AEROXhxi4x8Sw8pQyor7dWvEco24VenRKOsRDf6L-3VM8$

Poster and short paper submissions will undergo a peer-review process,
with each submission receiving at least two reviews. The reviews are
single-blind and the names of the authors will be seen by the
reviewers.
The extended poster abstracts and posters as well as all short papers
submitted after 14 June 2024 will NOT be published in the conference
proceedings. In case of acceptance and if the authors agree, they will
be published on the EuroMPI/Australia 2024 webpage.
Note that at least one of the authors of each full paper, short paper,
or poster accepted for presentation must be registered for
EuroMPI/Australia 2024.
