Dear Colleague,

FedCSIS 2022 Challenge: Predicting the Costs of Forwarding Contracts is
coming to an end, but that doesn't mean you can't take part in it
anymore. All you have to do is sign up and submit your solutions by May
27th. We strongly encourage you to do so, because the cash prizes and
the opportunity to present your results at the FedCSIS conference are
still within reach, you just have to try to grab them.

This year's data mining challenge revolves around predicting the costs
related to the execution of forwarding contracts. Prepared data sets
contain 6 years of orders history and details such as the type of
contract, basic characteristics of the shipped goods (i.e. dimensions,
special requirements), and the expected route that a driver will have to
cover.

The main task of the competition is to develop a predictive model
assessing the actual costs of individual contracts as accurately as
possible.

The competition is organized on the Knowledge Pit platform which is a
platform for organizing contests in the field of data science. It gives
students and scientists from all over the world the possibility to solve
real life, often business-related, problems.
