Recent Progress on Quantum Information Science & Technology: A
Satellite Workshop of the International Conference on High Performance
Computing in Asia-Pacific Region (HPC Asia 2021).
Virtual, January 22nd, 2021.

(1) When: 13:00-17:00, January 22nd, 2021 (KST)
(2) Where: The workshop will be a virtual event.
(3) Registration is free.

Quantum Information Science is a major frontier of modern science and
technology, exploring physical situations that are classically
impossible. Several important technological applications are emerging
and some parts are already available today, for example, quantum
computer, secure quantum key distribution, and so on. With the rapid
progress in quantum information technologies, both theoretical and
experimental, we plan on broadening the scientific scope envisioned
for this workshop. Including a solid-tutorial of IBM-powered open SDK
for quantum computing (QISKIT), this workshop aims to cover the latest
activities in theoretical studies and applications in the field of
quantum information technology. If you are interested in quantum
computing applications or want to learn the basics of quantum
algorithms, participation is strongly encouraged. Check the workshop
program now! (https://sites.google.com/view/hpcasia2021-workshopqc)

For the participation,
(1) authors must register for the HPC Asia 2021 as “Attendee” for free
(2) then send the confirmation email to the workshop committee
(hpcq2021 at gmail.com).
(3) Once we confirm your registration for the HPC Asia 2021, the zoom
link will be sent to your email.
