Call for Tutorials
Proposal Submission Deadline: 27 April 2018 - Extended
PURPOSE AND SCOPE
The 2018 International Conference on High Performance Computing &
Simulation (HPCS 2018) is to address, explore and exchange information
on the state-of-the-art in high performance and large scale computing
systems, their use in modeling and simulation, their design,
performance and use, and their impact. The 16th edition of the
Conference will be held on July 16 - 20, 2018 in Orleans, France.
As in every year, the Conference will feature a state-of-the-art set
of tutorial presentations. The HPCS 2018 Organizing Committee invites
proposals and ideas for tutorials to be held as part of the
Conference. All tutorials will address timely, important, and
relevant subject areas within high performance computing and
simulation. Preference will be given to proposals at an introductory
to medium high level, accessible to a wide audience. Typically, 2-4
hour tutorials are planned but others will be considered. Proposals
will be evaluated by members of the Organizing Committee.
If you are interested in presenting a tutorial at this conference or
have an idea for a tutorial you would like to see offered please
contact the Tutorials Co-Chairs.
TOPICS INCLUDE (but are not limited to):

is an important requirement.
ACCEPTED PROPOSALS
Proposers of accepted tutorials are given the opportunity to submit a
tutorial paper. The content of a tutorial paper must be based on the
material covered by the tutorial and must not exceed 10 pages. The

Conference Web site. The author kit containing templates for the
required style can be found at the Conferences web site at
http://hpcs2018.cisedu.info/.
Submitted tutorial papers will be reviewed by the Tutorials Chairs and
members of the Organizing Committee prior to publication. The
conference organizers have the right to refuse publication of tutorial
