(Apologies for duplication)

Dear colleague,

There are several Charm++ related activities at Supercomputing 2017 that I’d like to bring to your attention, beginning with a Charm++ Tutorial on Sunday 8:30 to 12:00 in room 210-212<https://sc17.supercomputing.org/presentation/?id=tut177&sess=sess243>. We will have a BoF on Charm++ and AMPI (Agenda at https://charm.cs.illinois.edu/CharmBoF) on Thursday 12:15 to 1:15 in room 301-302-303. We will present updates to the Charm++ system, including many features and improvements, along with short presentations from application developers, and an open discussion.

I’d especially urge you to send relevant people (from your organization or elsewhere), and/or come yourself to *the Charm++ tutorial*. Sunday morning is not the best spot, but it will be useful and doesn’t cost that much.

A PPL startup, Charmworks Inc., will exhibit in Booth 2233. Charmworks is commercially developing, licensing, and supporting Charm++. Of course, we continue to distribute Charm++ freely from the University for non-commercial purposes. For the Charmworks booth info, see here<http://charmplusplus.com/sc17.html>.

See more details about PPL at Supercomputing and our workshop papers at: https://charm.cs.illinois.edu/supercomputing.

Hope to see you at SC17!
