CICT 2014 Virtual Conference, December 1 — 14, 2014
Website: www.virtualcict.org
Location: Online
Deadline for Papers: October 31, 2014

Submissions are invited for the first edition of the Global Annual
Online Conference on Information and Computer Technology. The field of
computing continues to make great strides in the modern economy and
society, as almost everyone is now a computer user. This growth has been
sustained by contributions from individuals, government, industry and
educational institutions. CICT is an annual conference that captures the
growth in the theoretical and practical developments in the field of
computing.

The CICT 2014 solicits high quality contributions from the global
computing community. The works can be conceptual, empirical or novel
techniques and should not have been previously published or
simultaneously reviewed in other outlets. All works will be carefully
appraised in terms of their quality, impact and significance to the
discipline. The accepted papers will be included in the conference
proceedings published by CPS of IEEE Computer Society and made available
on the CICT website. All accepted papers will also be indexed in Ei
Compendex database and made available to IEEE Xplore and IEEE Computer
Society Digital Library (CSDL).

The CICT 2014 conference is inherently comprehensive as it covers the
gamut of computer science and information technology. It attempts to
integrate all aspects of computing and its applications in pursuit of an
understanding of the dominant field that has defined the information
age. We invite papers from all areas of computer science and information
technology. The papers we seek should describe original research,
analysis and practice in the field of computer science and information
technology, as well as work that discusses novel and thought-provoking
ideas and works-in-progress. Possible topics for submissions include,
but are not limited to, the following:

Algorithms and Complexity
Architecture and Organization
Programming Languages
Operating Systems
Discrete Structures
Software Engineering
Graphics/Visualization
Cloud Computing/Big Data Analytics
Parallel and Distributed Systems
Artificial Intelligence
Networking and Communication
Information Assurance and Security
Scientific Computing
Databases/Information Systems/Informatics
Human Computer Interaction
Computers in Education
Computers in Industry
Special-Purpose (Miscellaneous)

Submission Instructions and Review

The full paper should be in English and formatted according to the
official IEEE manuscript guidelines for authors.

Authors should use the styles as noted in this template:
2014_04_msw_usltr_format (1)

All submissions must be forwarded electronically and prospective authors
should submit their papers (not to exceed six pages) through the EDAS
(Editorial Assistant) submission system. If you do not have an account
with EDAS, please first create one.

After registration with EDAS, please locate the CICT 2014 conference to
submit your paper to the corresponding track. Instructions for authors
to use EDAS can be found here.

The processing of the submissions will be managed at EDAS and authors
will be notified accordingly.

The conference fee is only $400.

REVIEW PROCESS

The CICT program committees cover all relevant areas of computer science
and information technology. The committees consider only original and
previously unpublished papers. Each submission will be reviewed by three
experts in the relevant fields. The reviews will be used to decide which
papers to accept or reject. All accepted papers will appear by default
in the CICT Digital Proceedings (CPS of IEEE) and can also be made
available through the CSDL digital library.

BEST PAPER AWARD

A best paper award will be made in each category for work of high
quality presented at the CICT Conference. The technical committee in
conjunction with the organizing/steering committee will decide on the
qualifying papers. An award comprises a certificate for each of the
authors and an honorarium to be shared among the recipients.
