The Industry Track is the forum for high quality reports on emergent
technologies, challenges, and experience and lessons learned, as well in
conjunction with SOSE 2013

as case studies focused on innovative software technologies and
solutions in practice. This track covers all facets of computer
software and engineering, like service oriented engineering, mobile &
pervasive computing, cloud computing and engineering, virtualization,
and mobile cloud services and applications. In addition, it also
welcomes the contribution papers covering emergent topics, such as big
data and analytics, cyber security, smart computing, as well as social
network and multi-media.

Experience reports, position papers, issue and challenge discussions,
or case studies representing results of partnerships between industry
and academia are of substantial interest. We also encourage
submissions on experiences with innovative applications, methods,
tools, and solutions. Submissions that do not relate to commercial
software or industrial-strength software intended for wide use were
discouraged.

Important Dates:
Submission Deadline: November 15, 2012
Review Notification: December 31, 2012
Camera Ready and registration Deadline: January 15, 2013
Conference day: March 25~28, 2013

Page Limit:

The page limits and evaluation criteria for industry track papers are
given below.

Experience reports: 4-6 pages
Position papers: 2-4 pages
Issues and Challenges: 4-6 pages
Case study reports: 4-6 pages

Evaluation Criteria:
Each paper will be reviewed by at least three PCs based on its
contrition and quality in terms of its relevance, interest to the
audience, technical soundness and/or validity, insightful discussion,
timeliness, structure, and English presentation as well as clarity.

Publication:

All accepted papers will be included in the IEEE symposium proceedings
(as industry track), which will be published by the IEEE Computer
Society Press and included in the IEEE Digital Library. At least one
author of each accepted paper must attend the industry track session
to present the work.

Journal Special Issue:

Several journal special issues and book projects are under planning.
High quality papers may be selected to recommend to be published a
special journal issue for the extended and revised versions.
