For the people using an Intensity Pro (i.e. the one with both analog and HDMI inputs) and are getting a black video, to confirm what might be wrong, download GraphStudio from:
http://blog.monogram.sk/janos/tools/monogram-graphstudio/

With VIC running, run GraphStudio then "File" menu -> "Connect to Remote Graph...", then click the connect button. You'll then see the DirectShow Filter graph vic is using.

Right mouse button click on the left most filter and select properties, then click the capture tab, if you see MEDIASUBTYPE_UYVY and scroll down a bit and see biWidth and biHeight set to 720x486, then the Intensity Pro has most likely defaulted to the Analog input.

Hi All
Just to clarify.
I'm using a SONY HDR-SR12E camera.
I've tested it both in PAL and NTSC formats at 1080i and its all fine.
In resting phase. (very little activity) I'm getting 1.8M/s transfer rate.
