[AG-TECH] WinXP RAT problem

hi,

i've just installed release AG3.1 on a WinXP platform.
i'm having trouble with the RAT.  it does not come up when i enter a
venue, but i show no errors in the AudioService.log file.
i believe i am missing a process.
rat.exe is running, and
ratui.exe is running, but there is no
ratmedia.exe
also, when i quit the AG client, ratui.exe is not killed.

running rat.exe directly from the commandline does not elicit any error
messages, either.

any advice about how to debug this problems would be
greatly appreciated.
