AG2 uses \Documents and Settings\%username%\Application Data\AccessGrid

AG3 uses \Documents and Settings\%username%\Application Data\AccessGrid3

The VenueServer takes its configuration from files VenueServer.cfg and 
VenueServer.dat
in the current directory, so if you have those files in the current directory 
from AG2,
they will be used by the AG3 server.  There are command-line options for 
controlling the
files used by the VenueServer (see VenueServer.py -h).
