[AG-TECH] Installing AG 2.3 on Gentoo

It looks to me like libX11 wasn't compiled with threads and now you're
trying to compile with and link with threads. What is the output from
"emerge info" and it wouldn't hurt to include the output from "qpkg -I
-i -v" either.
