Ahh - good find. I'll make a note to check that case (it's in bugzilla now, 
actually, bug #883).

In the current release you have to do it manually; on windows:

         del %TEMP%\proxy

In the next release there will be a "proxy browser" with an option to 
destroy the current proxy.
