Hello everyone!

I am currently trying to setup a the VenueVNCServer on one of our Linux
computers. During this task some questions arised for me.
1. Is it necessary to have a Venue Server running on the same machine
(regarding the url of the venue to be passed to the starting call of the
VenueVNCServer) or can it be located on another machine?
2. I assume the display number to be the same as you would use it in
normal Linux, starting with :0 as the standard display visible. Is that
correct?
3. I didn't install the VenueServer by using the rpm, instead by just
copying the *.py-file into the usr/bin folder together with Xvnc and
vncrandpwd, is this sufficient or do I miss something essential to run
the VNCserver?
4. When I run the VncServer I get no message output at all just the
cursor icon changing to a cross. When clicking somewhere on the screen i
get different messages dependent where I click on, but all finally
resulting in the following message:
: command not foundrver.py: line 6:
/usr/bin/VenueVNCServer.py: line 24: syntax error near unexpected token `('
'usr/bin/VenueVNCServer.py: line 24: `class VNCServerException(Exception):

It would be great if someone could give me some hints on what I am doing
wrong as I am not that deep into Linux.
Thanks in advance.
Michael
