If you are looking for something concerning installing and configuring 
AccessGrid there was, as I think, 
a great talk by Thomas Uram abut installation and configuration of 
AccessGrid. I downloaded it from the internet.

I didn't have to manage with hardware aspects so far, so I don't think I 
can be of any help in this area.
