[AG-TECH] Shared apps ?

Hi,
I'm trying to understand how work the shared apps.
In the CVS tree, there's the source code for the
browser and presentation examples. But how do you
run them and integrate them into a Venue ?
What is the relation between the ".app" files, 
the MaicapSetup.py program, and the source code itself
int the '.py' file ?
