Randy,

Since the release of AG 1.2, not only have we been able to create a large
node with 2 Windows XP boxes, but we have actually gotten it down to a
single machine, with 3 video captures (osprey cards), with full display
machine capabilities as well.

We are using Compaq Evo W8000 machines, which are dual processor (xeon 2.4
GHz) with 3 Osprey 100s, onboard Creative Labs SB16 Audio, AGP Matrox G450
(dual display output), and PCI Matrox G200 (control).

I'm looking at possible configurations for supporting larger rooms, and
wondering if anyone's done a modification of the AG large room setup
that
splits the functions across two Windows boxes rather than a
Windows/Linux
setup. With all the peices available on Windows, I'm guessing it's
definitely possible, but I can imagine that there are some tweaks to the

startup files that would be required to point the second box to the
display
machine to coordinate the event management.

Anybody done this already?

Thanks!
