Hi Dave,

Hope things start getting a bit easier.  To answer your main question, the
binary rpms for beta3 should work fine, (especially if using redhat 7.3).
I don't think you'll need the beta3 srpms unless the binary rpms give you
problems when installing.

If you're having problems connecting, feel free to include your 
VenueClient and/or VenueServer log files when you describe a problem and
we should be able to narrow it down more quickly.

Also, make sure you have run grid-proxy-init recently (on my install, it
defaults to last 24 hours) otherwise I don't believe you'll be able to
connect.  We're working on ways to make this easier.

Although I'm far from an rpm expert, here is something I noticed from your
rpm troubles (I did the same thing): when you do rpm -e, the .i386.rpm at
the end isn't needed.  Just the package names need to be specified like
this:  "rpm -e AccessGrid-2.0beta-3".
