Just my 2c while everyone here's at it. If you're lazy like I am, you do
the following to force the RPM to install even if it a newer or same
version is installed:

rpm -Uvh --force AccessGrid-2.0-beta3.i386.rpm

Also, since you were using the CVS code, were you by chance using the
AGTK_LOCATION env variable? If so, make sure it's not set:

unset AGTK_LOCATION
env | grep AGTK
