[AG-TECH] APware running - always or just when needed

My guess is that they (who are listening - hello and welcome to ag-tech!) 
perhaps intend the product to be installed in a more turnkey environment, 
where production adjustments are made via either hardware controls, their 
remote control, or an AMX-style control system.
