[AG-TECH] ntpd help

All,
I am trying to get ntpd running correctly under Redhat 7.2.  My host
file has 3 entries:
199.104.137.1 agdisplay agdisplay.motlabs.com
199.104.137.2 agvideo   agvideo.motlabs.com
199.104.137.3 agaudio   agaudio.motlabs.com

When I try to run ntpd, I get this error:
localhost not found

So I added this to the host file:
127.0.0.1  agvideo localhost.localdomain localhost

And ntpd is happy (ntpdc -p returns ag.mcs.anl.gov), however, when I run
vrm-eventlistener, it reports:
hostname lookup returns localhost (127.0.0.1) and I do not get a
heartbeat

Any help would be appreciated.
