Next November marks the return of SC Global. Now is the time to start
thinking about what sessions you may want to present, what resources are
required and so on. The Call for Proposals will be out in February; however,
you can get early information about current thinking on SC Global at a BOF,
to be held over the Access Grid on 15th January (details below). Jennifer
Teig von Hoffman led this BOF at SC in Baltimore, but this is a chance to
attend over the AG, even if you couldn't make that conference. A number of
SCG03 committee members will be there to answer your questions, receive
comments, etc.

It's possible that you know of people who are not on this e-mail list but
who may nevertheless be interested in taking part in SCG03 (e.g. sites
without an AG node, academics who want to present to SC but don't want to
travel, people who may be able to stage interesting sessions in Showcase
sessions). In which case, please extend this invitation to them, or spread
the word after you've been to the BOF.

There will be 2 runs of the same BOF in an attempt to suit all the world's
timezones. The sessions will last 2 hours or less. Feel free to come to
whichever is more convenient. DPPT will be used and details of this will be
announced at the test and before - on the AG schedule
(http://www-fp.mcs.anl.gov/fl/accessgrid/schedule.htm).

BOF1: 15th Jan 2003, Full Sail Room, test at 11:00 UTC, BOF at 12:00 UTC
(7am EST)
BOF2: 15th Jan 2003, Full Sail Room, test at 23:00 UTC, BOF at 23:59 UTC
(6.59pm EST)

We hope to see you there,
The SCG03 Committee.
