[AG-TECH] AG 1.0.1 - Missed Heartbeat

I am trying out the AG software from
http://www-fp.mcs.anl.gov/fl/accessgrid/agpkgdownload.htm


I have set the display machine on both audio and video
to the correct machine. When I start 'arm-eventlistener'
or 'vrm-eventlistener' I get the following error message:

Mssed a second heartbeat, trying reconnect

Got newstate true
reconnect succeeded!

I see a solid black dot against "Connected" but do not see the
blinking blue dot against "Heartbeat".

This happens on both video and audio.
Anyone run into this?
(If you did - how did you fix it?)
