That's the beauty of native IP multicast.

You simply run sdr and it picks a random IP multicast address and port for
you to use.  sdr announces your session, and people join.  Alternatively,
you can pick a random number with sdr and just email it to the people you
care about.

No need for bridges, no need for beacons (once the infrastructure works),
no need for special tunnel configurations, none of that.
