[AG-DEV] Difficulties of AGTk development in windows platfrom

Hey~ smart guys..

I’m still in the problem of developing AGTk in windows platform!!

I’ve almost installed dependency software in the website, http://www-
unix.mcs.anl.gov/fl/research/accessgrid/software/cvs.html”.

But, I COULD NOT install the one component..(maybe, it is library for
building RAT module)

 

common (FuturesLab CVS) part

Argonne's copy of UCL's common library

CVSROOT=:pserver:anonymous at cvs.mcsanl.gov:/cvs/fl

module: common

cd common; make

cd examples/_common

python setup.py build

python setup.py install

 

I’ve tried to do above procedure in the console command prompt in windows,
and in the cygwin command prompt in windows.

But neither of above cases did WORK !

However I found that same procedures do WORK in linux platform.

Is there any body who knows how to install above component in windows
platform ?

 

And… I wonder whether

       1) I can do all the process for my development only in Windows
platform

or     2) I should use some results obtained from the other platform (like
linux)

or     3) I should do all the process for my development only some other
platform (like linux)

PLEASE~~ let me know the answer about above question,

And give me some advice for that case.
