Globus is not needed for AG3.x.x (it was part of AG2.x requirements).
Since you mention Golbus and in an earlier emil you also mentioned
fpconst (which was also a requirement for AG2, not AG3), I believe
you are looking at the wrong web page - probably http://www-
new.mcs.anl.gov/fl/research/accessgrid/software/developer.html ?.
That page refers to building/running the AG2 toolkit. A better
reference is:
http://www-new.mcs.anl.gov/fl/research/accessgrid/software/cvs.html
although this page is for building from CVS, in particular the soon
to be released AG3.1.
If your system already has OpenSSL-0.9.7, that should be good enough
for AG3.0.2; OpenSSL-0.9.8 is a recent requirement introduced for the
CVS (AG3.1) code.
