[POOL] Final Results

Final night of the 2015-2016 season.  We played X-Cue-Ses to determine
the highly contested 5th and 6th place finishes in the playoffs.  I
arrived after the first 2 matches, so I missed the full details of
those:

Martino opened the night againt Pat Mooney in a 1:9.  Pat got out to a
quick start, as he usually does, pretty much breaking and running all
his balls but one.  With most of Pat's balls off the table, Martino
went on his own run, sinking 5 in a row.  Then, when Pat unexpectedly
missed his remaining ball, Martino sank the rest of his and the 8 to
take a quick 1:0 match win!

Brian went next against John Chase in a 2:4.  Brian and John traded
wins, with John winning the 1st game, Brian the 2nd, and John the
3rd.  Not wanting to break the pattern, Brian won the 4th game to take
the match 2:2, putting Moe on the hill 2-0 for the night.

Paul L played next against Bobby in a 2:5.  Paul was making good
shots, but so was Bobby.  Bobby took the 1st and 2nd games, and as the
match progressed, his aim got better and better.  While Paul tried to
keep up, Bobby was just too much.  Paul went down 0:5.

Roger played the 4th match against Jason in a 2:2.  Roger and Jason
matched each other shot for shot, both hit and misses, in the 1st
game, with Jason sinking the 8 first to take game 1.  In the second
game, Roger got out to the early lead; Jason wasn't too far behind,
but Roger got to the 8 first, sending it to his called pocket, and
hanging it there.  Unfortunately, Jason was then able to sink his
remaining balls and tap in the 8 for the game and match win, 0:2.

The final, hill-hill match to decide the winner was between me and Tim
in a 3:3, both of us with identical handicaps.  But it's late, and
I've got to get up for work tomorrow, so more later... :)
