[Swift-devel] Ad-hoc coaster sites

Kate asked John Breshnahan to look into this.

These questions occur to me:
- can the context broker work on multiple clouds (EC2, Magellan, Futuregrid, and Bionimbus)
- will it support the "bag of workstations" model? (ie no VMs involved)
- how does Swift talk to it?
