sitedir.keep=true refers to the shared directory not the job directory.

Anyway, this seems to be some weird issue with the FS.

What would be helpful would be for you to find the .info file from
oops-20091202-1700-vmh5dnd3/jobs/j/ItFixInit-jjpe3bk and post that.
