The directory gets constructed like this:

<workdirectory >$workdir/$lc_vo/tmp/$sitename</workdirectory>

Where $workdir is the ReSS published value of OSG_DATA, lc_vo is the name 
of the VO, and sitename is the name of the site.

Is this what you were seeing?
