That will be true if we also capture all data that was accessed, and  
if we use any random number generators, the numbers generated.

In other cases, there will be tradeoffs between the amount of input  
data recorded and the amount of provenance information recorded, I  
think? (Not sure if I am right there.)

It does seem to me that we should want to distinguish between logging  
(for errors) and provenance (for recording the computation performed  
to generate a particular result).
