One model for what you should put in the trunk of the SVN is code that you 
think works well enough for a user to be making regular use of for their 
work (eg Nika). approximately equivalently, you shouldn't be pointing 
users to anything other than the SVN trunk (or some snapshot of trunk)) to 
obtain code.
