[petsc-users] Error configuring external packages

Dear all,

I am trying to compile the latest version, but I am getting the following
error:

         UNABLE to CONFIGURE with GIVEN OPTIONS    (see configure.log for
details):
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Error configuring METIS with CMake
*******************************************************************************

When I remove this package from the configure option, I get the same error
for other packages. Is there something wrong with my configure command or
compilers?
