[petsc-users] Solve a 1d non linear equation in petsc

Dear PETSC users,

I need to solve a simple equation of the type f(x)=0. f is a non linear
operator  and I know its analytical form. This operation has to be done
locally inside a processor domain. I suppose that petsc provides a very
usefull way to carry out this. Would you please suggest me a proper way?
